Please accept my heartiest congratulations to Saptak for completing 24 glorious years. Abbaji, We and his family have been connected with Saptak from its inception. As a teaching institute, Saptak's contribution to the world of music has been significant. The Saptak festivals over the years have been organised with a lot of finesse and dedication. It is very nice to see young artistes getting a platform to perform for these festivals. The senior artists performing for these festivals becomes a source of inspiration for these young and upcoming musicians. My heartiest compliments and best wishes to Saptak members for the success of its 'Silver Jubilee' year celebrations.
In completing 24 years of dedicated service to the cause of Indian classical music, Saptak is sure to earn the admiration and gratitude of countless students of Indian music such as myself. With its unfailing, steadfast commitment to Indian Classical music, Saptak is an inspiration for all those concerned with imparting knowledge, and preserving and promoting Indian music despite the steady decline in patronage for such activities. The annual music festival organised by Saptak has, year after year provided a platform for artistes, young and old; up coming and established as maestros to share their music with music lovers of Gujarat. Even as festivals of Indian classical music in other parts of the country are being forced to curtail their activities due to lack of patrons and sponsors, the ten-day long Saptak Festival has grown to become one of the biggest festivals in the country. I am certain that this has been possible only because of the tenacity and hard work of Shri Nandan Mehta and his dedicated team. It is not uncommon to hear praises being showered on Saptak by music lovers who have migrated to other parts of the world. This would not have been achieved without the constant supervision the school has received from Shri Nandan Mehta, who has been ably supported by Manjuben, Rupaben, Bhartiben, D.D.Trivedi & Others. I feel privileged to have been a performer at the Saptak festival and wish the Saptak family the very best in all its future endeavors.
Congratulations to Saptak "The Entire Team" I am very pleased that Saptak is entering its 25th year of existences. I am very happy to know that Saptak is entering 25 years. I have been associated with 'Saptak' right from beginning. This is a rare organisation which was formed not for any commercial purpose but for propagation of Indian classical music with total dedication. Today Saptak has got a unique position among the cultural events in India, a festival of music for consecutive thirteen nights, presenting great quality music not only by the leading musicians of India but also by the young talented musician of next generation. Today Saptak is also Known in foreign countries. NRI's and other people from different countries make it a point to attend Saptak festival. I congratulate Shri Nandan Mehta and his associates on this occasion. May God give him and Saptak a long life.
